Chinese New Year manicure

Hi ladies! Tomorrow (February 3) is Chinese New Year and I wanted to share with you my Chinese New Year Manicure I've been rocking to celebrate. I’m really disappointed that I wasn’t able to spend CNY in Hong Kong for the 2nd year in a row as the festivities and atmosphere at this time there are JUST AWESOME =D 2 weeks of celebrations?? Yes please count me in! Sydney CNY celebrations just do not compare at all unfortunately but I will still eat plenty of food hehe. I am busy cleaning and preparing for New Year celebrations tonight so this post will be light on words.

Here's what I used to create my mani:

Pinky: 2 coats of Elianto Glitter Shine Red with flower design from Essence image plate stamped using China Glaze Passion.

Ring finger: 3 coats of Ulta 3 lily white with flower design from Konad image plate s9 stamped using BYS Glamourpuss. Topped with a coat of China Glaze 5 Golden Rings.

Middle finger: 2 coats of OPI Red My Fortune Cookie with 福 (fortune) design from Essence image plate stamped with Konad Special polish in black. I then used Art Deco nail striper in gold glitter to freehand a french tip.

Index finger: 2 coats of OPI Glitzerland with Asian floral design from Essence image plate stamped using BYS Glamourpuss.

Thumb: 2 coats of Ozotic Pro Premium Holographic 511.

    Amazing! Nice combinations of colour and designs. The design on your middle finger reminds me of a red envelope ^^ Have a wonderful CNY!!!

    Kung Hei Fat Choy! There's also a countdown here (Philippines) until midnight, and lots and lots of fireworks and Nian Gaos! I saw the celebration in HK on tv, it was amazing! May the metal rabbit bring you luck and prosperity this year!

    Uwa, Chinese New Year, I love it. When I was living in London we would celebrate with my HK friends and eat eat eat!

    @JQ: Skittles are so fun and I figured I hadn't done one for a while =) Plus as always I didn't get time to do full manis for all the designs I did so a skittles was the easiest way lol.
