Review: Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo

Last week was freezing here in Sydney and weak old me managed to get sick =( I try not to wash my hair too much in the colder months and especially when I'm sick so I rely heavily on dry shampoo to get me between washes. I've tried and tested lots of brands over the years but I always come back to Batiste - I love their cute packaging and that they have so many different scents to choose from! One of their new products is Cherry dry shampoo and I'm loving it!

How adorable is the cherry packaging!! The cherry scent smells fantastic (good enough to eat!) but isn't overpowering which is great. It works like all the other Batiste shampoos so a quick spritz onto the roots, a good massage through with the fingertips and you are good to go. My hair looks really greasy and disgusting when it gets oily and the Batiste Cherry dry shampoo absorbs the oil leaving my hair feeling and looking clean. I didn't find it gave me much volume or texture though so that's the only downfall for me. I loved that it didn't leave too much white residue on my black hair compared with other Batiste dry shampoos though.

Overall: I'll definitely be purchasing it when I run out! I love the scent and it kept my hair fresh and clean for the day. I love that it comes in a small handbag size and the larger 200ml can!

Details: The Batiste Cherry dry shampoo is available from Priceline, Coles, Woolworths, David Jones and leading pharmacies nationally for $4.95 for 50ml and $9.95 for 200mls can. Check out other details on their site.

  1. I'm actually on the lookout for a new dry shampoo! The only once I've tried so far is Lee Stafford, which my friend recommended may years ago, but I didn't really use for a long time. XD It's decent but not perfect, so I will definitely keep this one in mind when I'm searching for the best (the yummy scent is a definite plus)!
