Shimmer Polish swatches and review: Karen, Amy, Jennifer, Irene and Erica
Today I have my swatches and review of some beautiful glitter polishes from Shimmer Polish! You all know I ADORE glitters so when Cindy got in touch offering to send me some polishes of course I couldn't say no. The polishes are gorgeous so I couldn't resist posting quite a few pics so be warned this post is PIC HEAVY.
Karen* contains large silver hex glitter and smaller pink and purple glitter in a clear base. It is absolutely stunning and just sparkles on the nail! I can never go past a purple glitter =D 2 coats is pictured over 1 coat of Ciate Wait Until Dark and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Amy* contains fine blue, silver, red and pink glitters in a pink jelly base. It's a really fun and girly shade! 2 coats is pictured over 1 coat of OPI Houston We Have a Purple and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Jennifer* contains fine silver, blue and larger black and silver hex glitters. It is so pretty and another one of my favourites. I love the added black glitter! 2 coats is pictured over 1 coat of essence underwater and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Irene* is a fine glitter packed with champagne, silver and gold glitter. I prefer the larger glitter combinations so this is my least favourite. 3 coats is pictured and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Erica* contains a mix of fine green and gold glitters and larger silver glitter in a clear base. I probably should have swatched it over a darker base so the glitter stands out more but oh well! This one is perfect for a more refined Australia Day mani I think haha. 2 coats is pictured over 1 coat of OPI Glitzerland and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

Overall: I am loving these gorgeous Shimmer Polish glitters! The glitter combinations are so pretty and sparkly, perfect for any glitter lover! The shades are packed full of glitter but aren't thick or difficult to apply at all which is what you'd kind of expect for so much glitter. I'm impressed with the formula and application was a breeze for all shades - no clumpiness at all. Cindy names her polishes after her friends and family and each polish is inspired by them which is so special.
Details: Shimmer Polish can be purchased from Cindy's Etsy store or directly from ShimmyShimmer.com for $12US each and custom polishes for $15US.
Thank you so much for letting me try your gorgeous polishes Cindy!! My apologies it took me so darn long to post my swatches x(
What do you think of them? I hope you like them as much as I do! Thanks for looking as always =)
