May/June 2013 hauls
Helloooooo! I thought I'd share my hauls for May and June with you all. I wasn't really been able to haul much in recent months due to my wedding but now I can do some hauling again yaaaaaaay =D I hauled mainly polish (what else seriously?!) of course!

China Glaze + pastels = MAJOR LEMMING so of course I had to get the Avant Garden Blooming Brights and Pastel Petals collections!! I love China Glaze pastels and these are just perfect.

I couldn't go past the gorgeous glitters and cremes in the Cult Nails Dance All Night collection and picked it up in the preorder sale and received a Wax That top coat free. I also picked up Nevermore which I've been wanting to get for ages and also Happy Ending as it was on sale hehe. I realised that I haven't purchased any Cult Nail polishes in 2 years!

I love the look of black and white glitters but hadn't added any to my stash yet so I picked up this cheap as chips glitter set from Models Prefer.

I've been stalking every Chemist Warehouse store near me and at work for sooooooooooooo long now for the W7 Sprinkles polishes and I FINALLY found them! Well I found 2 - Mosaic and Lava Flow - so I'm still on the hunt for Salt n Pepper. I have no idea why they're so hard to find!

A Pro Nail haul! I picked up China Glaze Texture Bump & Ground in May when I picked up the Avant Garden collections and then Color Club Almost Famous and OPI The Impossible when I went last week with Anita and Ange.

I love the white striper from the Kiss nail artist paint & stencil kit (you can read my full review of it here) and I've been needing another one but it's been so hard to find! I finally found it at Big W and on sale too woot.

I've been getting facials from Ella Rouge for the last few months and my beauty therapist recommended the HydroPeptide Anti-Wrinkle Dark Circle Concentrate. I've been on the hunt for a new eye cream and they had a 20% off sale so I decided to try it out. I haven't used it just yet as I'm finishing my Kiehl's one!

Hope you liked seeing my hauls for May and June! Thanks for looking as always =)

Purple dots and hearts manicure
So clearly I am sooooo imaginative when it comes to post titles - NOT! I’ve been wanting to try out a gorgeous purple glitter I received from Scandal Cosmetics but didn’t want the hassle of glitter removal so I used it in a purple skittles mani. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until after I’d taken all my photos and removed my mani that I had filed my ring finger nail ridiculously crooked so my mani looks weird =S

What I used:
Pinky: I used 2 coats of China Glaze Tart-y to the Party as my base. I did a glitter gradient using Scandal Cosmetics Heart lacquer in 47 Silver Holic* and Essie Set in Stone.
Ring finger: I used 1 coat of Scandal Blackline in 5804 Modern Black* and stamped dots using China Glaze Harmony.
Middle finger: I used 2 coats of China Glaze Tart-y to the Party as my base and 2 coats of Scandal Cosmetics Heart lacquer in 63 Purple Dia. Purple Dia contains large silver hex glitter and smaller silver glitter in a medium purple base. I love it layered over Tart-y to the Party!

Index finger: I used 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow and added a heart rhinestone from their stone set*.
Thumb: 2 coats of China Glaze Tart-y to the Party as my base and I stamped dots using China Glaze Millenium.

The stone set contains a great mix of shades and sizes of rhinestones - there’s hearts (my fave!), teardrops, stars and ovals. I have other rhinestone sets and they don’t come with as much variety.

Details: Scandal Heart nail lacquers are available from Scandal Cosmetics online store for $4, Blackline lacquers are available for $5.50 and the stone set is $6.
Thanks for looking as always!
* Product(s) provided to me for consideration but this in no way influenced my review in any way. As always, my reviews are my 100% honest opinion. My Disclosure Policy can be viewed here.

Farewell Google Reader!
As you've probably heard by now, Google Reader will no longer be available from Monday July 1st. Farewell Reader you've served us well! But not to worry there are other ways to keep up with my ramblings!

OPI Langham Pink swatches and degustation at Galileo Restaurant, The Langham Sydney
A few months back I went for a fab dinner with Jade and A at Galileo Restaurant at The Langham. After dinner we checked out the gift shop and lo and behold came across an OPI nail polish created especially for Langham Hotels! I didn't even know it existed! Being a sucker lover for limited edition products and pink polishes of course I had to pick up a bottle of Langham Pink. We each bought a bottle bottle actually!

Langham Pink was created in 2011 to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Langham Groups signature pink which is used throughout their hotels worldwide. It's a gorgeous cherry blossom pink creme and just the sort of shade I love! Application wasn't pretty good and it was opaque in 3 coats which is pictured.

Close up:

Details: OPI Langham Pink is available exclusively at Langham Hotels for $16.95Aus.
The restaurant! Galileo Restaurant is located in the Langham Hotel (formerly the Observatory Hotel) in the city and the decor is just gorgeous.

We had the degustation with all the trimmings (yes we got the cheese platter and also tea and petit fours!!) for a fantastic price because A got us a great deal!

The food was excellent and service was fantastic too. We literally had to roll ourselves out of there afterwards lol. I'd definitely recommend going there!

I love discovering new polishes when I least expect too!! Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for looking as always =)
