I've had this post sitting in my drafts for so long I completely forgot about it. Oops! The polishes are too awesome not to share so some quick swatches and my review for you (finally) are below.

Prenup is a pastel lilac creme and the polish combines everything I love in the one bottle. Purple + pastel + opaque + great formula = happiness. 2 coats is pictured.

Sugar Daddy is a packed silver glitter that looks absolutely fantastic in the bottle and exactly what I've been on the hunt for for quite some time. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my high expectations. as I found the formula quite thick and it applied lumpy which is very different to all the other Kester Black shades in my collection.

I'm hoping I just got a dud bottle? I added a few drops of thinner after swatching though and that seemed to do the trick luckily. 2 coats is pictured (before thinner).

Once I thinned it down I applied Sugar Daddy as a reverse glitter gradient over 2 coats of Prenup which I love the look of! A reverse glitter gradient is always one of my go-tos for easy and great looking nail art.

Overall: A great set from Kester Black and Trophy Wife despite the not so flash formula of Sugar Daddy. One of the reasons why I love Kester Black is their pastels are so opaque and easy to apply so Prenup is definitely my recommendation. I also love how the names of their collab shades always tie in with the Trophy Wife theme :)

Details: The Kester Black Trophy Wife 14 collection is available from the Kester Black online store for $20 each or $38 for the set.
I'm on a spending ban because I'm off to Japan in October (SQUEEE!!!!) but knowing me I'll most likely give in sometime and purchase the new collab set. Have you tried Kester Black polishes before? What are your favourites?

Thanks for looking as always!
I've been in a blogging and nail rut that's lasted longer than normal but I'm slowly coming out of it now I think. I haven't polished my nails in over a month which is really unlike me! Since winter set in my eczema has been absolutely shocking and it's the worst it's been in many many years and the thought of acetone near my dry fingers and hands just turns me off polishing. I did manage to swatch the beautiful Chanel Mediterranée from the Summer 2015 collection though which is a nice way to slowly ease back into blogging.

What they say:

"The vivid skies and blue seas of the Mediterranean inspire a vibrant makeup collection.Bronzed skin and mesmerizing eyes create a radiant Summer look, while bold nails and colourful lips complete the effect."

Mediterranée is a stunning teal creme which instantly puts you in mind of the ocean, sunshine and a summer holiday in Cote d’Azur. Basically the total opposite of today's freezing and windy Sydney weather! 4 shades were released in the collection but Mediterranée is the standout and the only shade I picked up.

As soon as I saw swatches from Michelle at All Lacquered Up I knew I had to own it and I wasn't disappointed at all! The formula (as for most Chanel's I own) was wonderfully opaque, glossy and a dream to apply. I think the polish speaks for itself and 2 coats is pictured.
One collection that I've been dying to own though is Victoria Beckham's Limited Edition collaboration with Nails Inc. inspired by her Summer 2015 collection. I searched high and low to get my hands on the collection before the release in Aus but no such luck unfortunately! I loved the look of both Bamboo White and Judo Red so when I found out that they would be available exclusively from Sephora earlier this month off to the city I went!

What they say:

"The collection is said to be the chicest beauty launch of the year - a unique limited edition duo of nail polishes developed to sit alongside the Victoria Beckham Spring Summer 2015 collection. The polishes have been inspired by the feel of the collection and its subtle incorporation of Japanese elements creating THE MUST-HAVE new season nail looks.

The covetable and collectible duo features two new polish shades – Judo Red and Bamboo White - developed with an exclusive formulation featuring Stretch-To-Fit technology and Bamboo Extract with Silica and is presented within a sleek new bottle design."

The new concave glass bottles are made from Venetian glass and designed by Fabien Baron and customised by Victoria Beckham and come packaged in a LE Nails Inc. gift box. The bottles are fully frosted and available in matte black and matte white with matching caps and transparent glass sides that reveal the hidden polish colour.

I haven't bought Nails Inc. in ages and the last time I did they were still in the round bottles! I actually prefer the look of the round bottles but these ones are soooooo much easier to take mani pics with.

The brush is thick and curved which I don't normally like (I find a straight brush gives me more control) however I found it easy to get a clean finish with minimal clean up.

Bamboo White is a pink toned bone creme that is absolutely beautiful and it's already surpassed Bloom Toni and Kester Black Buttercream as my favourite nude shade. The formula is buttery and fully opaque in 2 easy coats drying to a high gloss finish. It's just gorgeous!! 2 coats is pictured.

Judo Red is a tomato red creme that leans very orange and is super opaque and glossy. You could get away with just 1 careful coat however I still prefer doing 2 out of habit. 2 coats is pictured.

Overall: Since leaving behind her "Posh Spice" moniker, Victoria Beckham hasn't put a fashion foot wrong in my eyes and this collection just reaffirms it for me. The formulas are amazingly opaque and I'm loving the chic matte bottles and the new brush as well. I'm such a sucker for LE products and packaging too! I'm picky when it comes to nudes and Bamboo White complements my skintone and is the perfect palette cleanser - definitely the must have.

The shades aren't groundbreaking by any means so it's more for the collectors or if you're wanting great quality basics to start off your collection. I'm hoping Victoria Beckham will release more collab polish collections that are just as amazing!

Details: The Victoria, Victoria Beckham x Nails Inc. collection is available exclusively from Sephora Australia - the duo set retails for $60 or individually for $35. For international ladies the collection is available from nailsinc.com for £25 each or £45 for the duo and $25US each from Sephora.com
How have you all been? It's been a crazy few weeks and I can't believe it's nearly halfway through May already. What the heck?!! The husband and I are off to Japan in October (SQUEEEE!) so in preparation we're doing Japanese classes which is giving the old noggin' a good workout. I started yoga classes too which I'm really enjoying and I"m trying to be more active especially as we're heading into Winter and all I want to do is vege out. I also got the AMAZING opportunity to have lunch at The Fat Duck Melbourne last week and flew down just for the day so it's been a little exhausting!

I have a very simple stamped mani today that I did a little while ago. I used 3 coats of Models Own HyperGel Pink Veneer and stamped different designs from Nailz Craze plate NC 04 using China Glaze Millennium.

I love the Nailz Craze plates and I really wish Natalie would release more designs! They stamp so well and the designs are so cute. Who doesn't love a bit of bling right? Thanks for looking!
It's a (poor) recreation of the nails created by Sophie Harris-Greenslade from the The Illustrated Nail in this tutorial for Barry M. I really enjoy her tutorials for Barry M but watching them makes me soooooooo wish the brand was more readily available in Aus as I adore their polishes! Unfortunately I don't own the polishes she used in the tutorial so I used Models Own HyperGel White Light for the petals and Catrice Team Lucky Mustards for the centre of the daisies.

Even though it didn't turn out as neat as I wanted I think the mani turned out ok especially if you don't look too closely haha. Thanks for looking!
I haven't been in the mood for nails or blogging lately and I finally feel like getting back in to it so I'm back today with my Easter mani. The best thing about Easter manis is the excuse to break out the pastels! Not that one really needs any excuse for them haha. I'm pretty happy with how my nails turned out so I think I've got my mojo back!

Here's what I used:

Thumbs: I used 2 coats of Orly Snowcone as my base. For the grass I applied thin stripes of China Glaze Entourage and Nail Star two way nail art pen & brush in Green and created clouds using Cult Nails Tempest and a medium dotting tool. I finished it off by adding butterfly and dragonfly fimo.

Index finger: I used 3 coats of Models Own Speckled Eggs Dove which was a birthday present from my lovely friend Aysh. It's such a great pink and speckled polishes are so darn cute!

Middle finger: I used 2 coats of Cult Nails Tempest and freehanded the carrots using Bloom Bettina I and Kester Black Peach Melba*. For the leaves I used Revlon Parfumerie Lime Basil.

Ring finger: I used 2 coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz and Cult Nails Tempest for the polka dots.

Pinky: I used 2 coats of Barry M Gelly and made a decal using bunny design from Bundle Monster plate BM-H10 using Konad Special Polish in white and filled in the ears using Kester Black Lilac and the eye with Cult Nails Nevermore.

I used 2 coats of Kester Black Violet (swatched here) and freehanded the triangles using Kiss Nail Art Striper in black and added a small round gold stud to the top of the triangle.
Pairing luxe packaging with high quality formulas and a multitude of shades, it's a winner. I purchased 3 of the Iconic nail polishes while I was in Hong Kong and have swatches and my review of Iconic Ottanio, Iconic Gold and Iconic Red for you today.

What they say:

"The bold high-gloss lacquer combines a state of the art formula and an innovative brush for a luxurious manicure experience. The specialized triangular-bristle brush provides impeccable, even coverage with each stroke, while the pigment-saturated nail polish results in a glossy, high-shine look."

Source

The lacquers are housed in a square bottle featuring a black lid that's entirely embossed with the Gucci double G logo and with the logo in gold on the top of the cap with an embossed box as well. As far as luxury lacquers go the Gucci lacquers look the part and are made in France to boot.

Iconic Ottanio is a beautiful vibrant peacock blue teal metallic with very subtle silver shimmer through it. Absolutely gorgeous and the stand out of the shades I purchased. It's wonderfully opaque and applied like a dream drying to a high gloss shine. 2 coats is pictured.

Iconic Gold isn't your typical gold polish and is a glass fleck glitter in a copper brown base. Not much gold at all really! It's an interesting shade and the result on the nail is different to what you expect from the bottle. It almost looks like small flakies on the nail but dries quickly to a smooth finish. 2 coats is pictured.

Iconic Red is classic dark red creme. Nothing ground breaking I know because there's a million and one like it out there but I do like to try red cremes from luxury brands as a baseline for their collection. The formula of Iconic Red is a tiny bit on the thick side but easy enough to work with and mostly self levelling. I have to say that I prefer the formulas of Chanel Dragon and Rouge Louboutin as they are simply flawless. 2 coats is pictured.

Overall: I'm impressed with the shades I chose from the Gucci Beauty high-gloss lacquer collection and I'm hoping that they expand their colour range in the future. The specialised triangular-bristle brush delivers as promised for an easy application for a high gloss shine. Luxe packaging gets me every time and the chic black and gold double G packaging is a splurge I had to make for my collection.

Bonus pic below of of the stand at Sogo, Causeway Bay Hong Kong. I was very impressed at the range of shades available especially for their liquid foundation and lipsticks. The sales assistant was absolutely lovely and super helpful too making my shopping experience very enjoyable - she was attentive but not breathe-down-your-neck attentive at all like I find a lot of sales assistants are in HK.
A very quick post to show you an awesome package I came home to when I arrived back from Hong Kong. Lovely Dutch blogger Marte from Girly Addictions spoilt with some awesome European goodies!

Beautiful Catrice holos! I actually picked up some of the Haute Future collection when I was in Rome last year but so happy to have backups of these pretty shades.

I love essence limited editions and these Come to Town Christmas sets are so sweet! They weren't available here in Aus either so super happy to add them to my stash.

Ciate Velvet Manicure set and gorgeous glitters. I don't have many Ciate lacquers as they're kind of pricey here so very excited for these.

p2 fluffy spot polish and Revlon Enchanting and Electric. The swatches I've seen of the fluffy spot polish look really interesting as it's meant to give a snowflake look.
I love a good face mask and these sound so good coming in flavours like macaron, bubblegum and cupcake. Love the metallic packaging too!
Delicious Dutch snacks including my absolute favourite stroopwafels! They disappeared in no time and went so well with the green tea lemon macaroon flavour which smells AMAZING. And who doesn't love Hello Kitty candy too!

The name Red Delicious says it all and it's a yummy pinky red creme. The formula is smooth and opaque and the brush has a medium firmness making it easy to apply. 2 coats is pictured.
I love cloud manis as it’s sooooo simple to do you just can't go wrong!

I used 2 coats of I Scream Nails Blue Heaven* and a medium dotting tool to create clouds using Kester Black French White* and topped it off with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat. My top coat dragged the design a little but real clouds are wispy so it works!
Today is the first day of Autumn and as usual I like to buck the trend and go with some brights. I'm excited to show you 6 bright fun shades from I Scream Nails - if you haven't heard of them they are nail artists based in Melbourne and Sydney doing awesome freehand nail art.

I Scream Nails released 6 ice cream polishes late last year that are 5 free meaning they don’t contain Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde or Formaldehyde Resin; are 100% vegan and made here right in Australia. I was so pleasantly surprised at the amazing formulas so read on for my swatches and review! Warning: this post is pic heavy.

The polishes come well packaged in cute ice cream themed boxes along with I Scream Nails stickers. The shape of the bottles is very familiar as they are pretty much identical to the Etude House polishes that were released a few years back. They seem difficult to use but are really easy to hold and use.

Blue Heaven is a pastel sky blue creme that would have to be one of the best pastel blues I've come across. Super opaque and easy to apply and I just love this shade of pastel blue. It's soft and almost squishy! 2 coats is pictured

Juicy Juicy is a pastel yellow creme and reminds of me a juicy juicy lemon! I adore yellow polishes but most formulas I've come across are streaky, thin and hard to work with. The formula of Juicy Juicy is hands down absolutely SPOT ON - no dragging, no streaking and it's fully opaque in 2 easy coats. LOVE. 2 coats is pictured.

Mint Madness is the odd one out in this collection by being a frosted neon mint green. The formula was the odd one out too as I found it thick and streaky and unfortunately tricky to work with. 3 coats is pictured.

Bubblegum Bang is a bright bubblegum hot pink neon creme that's super opaque and dries to a slightly matte finish. 2 coats is pictured.

Grape Soda is a pastel mauve creme with the same opaque and easy formula to work with. I'm always drawn to shades like these and it would look so cute paired with some simple white polka dots. 2 coats is pictured.

Sunny Boy is named after the great Aussie ice treat that most people know from their childhood. What I would have given for one today in the yucky Sydney heat! It's a bright orange neon creme that a dries matte and my pics don't do it justice as it's a true neon and is much much brighter in person. 3 coats is pictured.

Overall: I am thoroughly impressed by the I Scream Nails polishes and I can't wait to do some proper nail art with them! The formulas are amazing and especially considering they're pastels and neons which are notorious for having tricky formulas. The formulas are opaque and easy to work with and dried quickly to a high gloss shine. The only exception was Mint Madness which was the problem child of the collection being thick and streaky - perhaps I got a dud bottle?

My must haves for the collection are Blue Heaven, Grape Soda and Juicy Juicy.

Details: The I Scream Nails polishes are available from the I Scream Nails online store and in their nail salons for $14.95 each or you can buy the entire set for $79.95.
This is a NOTD from last month from when I went to a friend’s wedding. As always I leave doing my nails for events until the very last minute which means I am always rushing so just went for something simple. I posted a snap of this mani on Instagram and Facebook already so you might have seen it before!

I used 2 coats of Hello Darling Cakefight (which is such an appropriately named wedding shade!) and stamped butterfly looking lace design from Moyou London Bridal collection plate 07 using Konad Special polish in black. Topped it all off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Thanks for looking!
Combined with jet lag and catching a cold off my nieces I am so not liking being back. It was great to just relax, spend time with my family and mainly just eat lots and lots!

I didn't really shop too much because the exchange rate isn't crash hot at the moment so this is probably the smallest HK haul I've done over the years. I did of course purchase a few items I've been lusting after but lately I haven't been blown away by new products so I'm mainly finishing off products in my stash which my wallet is happy about.

I thoroughly regretted not purchasing Les Merveilleuses Ladurée cosmetics when I was in Paris last year so when Christina told me they had launched in HK I had to rectify that immediately. I bought 2 of the blushes, the cheek brush and brush holder along with some gifts - plus an item to give away shortly too! I'll be swatching the gorgeous blushes soon too.

Gucci Beauty launched in HK late last year so of course the nail polishes were on my wishlist. It was hard deciding which of the shades to get so I went with some of the iconic shades - Red, Gold and Ottanio.

So technically I didn't purchase these while in HK but I did bring them home with me from HK so I've included them in this post. I can never resist a good sale and the Models Own 50% off sales are pretty epic! Sadly they don't ship to Australia anymore but they do ship to HK so I got my order shipped to the in-laws and they arrived just as I got to HK. Absolutely perfect timing! I hauled the entire Colour Chrome collection which are perfect for stamping.

The Dolly Wink mascaras are my Holy Grail so I stocked up on a few to last until my next trip. They've been my favourite for the last few years and they don't budge on my oily lids.

My first Ferragamo piece! I've been after a small coin purse for my Chanel wallet on chain and the Vara bow coin case in Macaron is so sweet and exactly what I was after. It fits neatly into my wallet too!
I also bought a few phone cases for my new iphone 6 and a replacement Longchamp bag but that's it for this year! Very tame compared to previous years haha. What have you guys hauled lately? Thanks for looking as always!
Here are my top picks for Valentines Day this year with a mix of new and old products I'm loving:

Glasshouse Fragrances Verona - A dozen roses candle ($42.95 here):
I love the smell of roses and I absolutely adore the Glasshouse Fragrances candles so this limited edition is a match made in candle heaven for me. With the pretty glass packaging and delicate scent of Spicy Rose, Strawberry Leaf and Pink Amber it is the perfect candle to get you in the mood this Valentine's Day.

Stella McCartney - Stella Sheer:
I only realised after I was halfway through preparing this post that this perfume is no longer available sadly! I adore her range of rose scents and this version is light, feminine and perfect for the warmer weather at this time of year.

The Body Shop Smoky Poppy collection bodylotion ($16.95)* and body scrub ($23.95)*:
The limited edition Smoky Poppy collection is infused with real handpicked poppy flowers from the Ankara region of Turkey and consists of 7 indulgent products. I'm not great at describing scents but it's a somewhat musky yet sweet smell and different to what I normally use. The body scrub is filled with poppy seeds for a really intense exfoliation leaving your skin silky smooth while the hand lotion absorbs quickly to get your hands desirably soft.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Blush* ($21.95 here):
This palette alone is worth purchasing just for the pretty packaging! I use a soft blush brush to blend the colours together for a very natural glow. It's definitely one for fairer skin tones as it would need a very heavy hand for it show on darker skin tones.

Face of Australia Lip Paint in Fired up Fuschia* ($6.95 here):
The Face of Australia Lip Paints are a hybrid between a gloss and a liquid lipstick and give a super pigmented finish for a sexy pout. They wear well like a liquid lipstick but still give a glossy finish which I love. They come in 6 gorgeous shades but Fired up Fuschia is my favourite!

Face of Australia Lumi-tint in Hydra Heaven* ($12.95 here):
These Illuminating Sticks are a fantastic alternative to the popular (yet pricey) NARS Multiple and double as cream blush or as a face highlighter. They contain mineral oil and jojoba oil to lock in moisture and the formulas are creamy and very easy to blend to give your face a dewy glow without the hard work.

Help Me Ronda Hydration Balm in Sweet Rose ($9 here):
The new Sweet Rose scent is a new addition to Ronda's Hydration Balm range (which I reviewed last month) and it was released as part of the limited edition Vintage Love Package. I purchased the package during the pre-sale however there are still some packs available which include limited edition Emily De Molly Valentines Day lacquer and Loki's Nail Vinyls but the Sweet Rose balm should be for sale individually soon.

Chanel Dragon ($39 here):
There's nothing like a classic red creme and Chanel Dragon (fully swatched here) is a timeless and dramatic red lacquer that pairs well with any skin tone. It helps that the formula is amazing so if you're like me and leave things until the last minute you can apply just one flawless coat right before you rush out the door.

Have you tried any of these products? What will you be wearing this Valentines Day? Thanks for looking as always!
It's chic and for me instantly boosts my confidence by adding that final touch to any outfit. Because red is a classic shade, it's worth investing in one that has a great formula and Chanel Dragon is my luxe pick that doesn't totally break the budget like the breathtaking Christian Louboutin Rouge. Plus it is perfect for Valentines Day which is just around the corner!
Dragon is an amazingly opaque and intense red creme that leans slightly cherry so it's an extremely wearable red for those that aren't used to wearing such a vibrant colour. It's fully opaque in one single flawless coat and the self leveling formula dries quickly to a glossy shine. Heaven in a bottle! I've yet to come across a Chanel lacquer that I haven't loved especially when their formulas are this amazing.

Pictured is one coat topped off with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat and this combination wore extremely well for me.
I thought it was about time to rectify that but I went with something different from the usual black and white. Please excuse my crappy photos in this post though - I really need to get my artificial lighting situation sorted so I don't have to wait for daylight to swatch and take NOTD photos.

I applied 2 coats of Models Own HyperGel Lilac Sheen on all fingers except my ring finger where I used 2 coats of NCLA Elegantly Punk. I stamped houndstooth design from Moyou London Pro plate 07 using Konad Special polish in white and then topped them off with a coat of NCLA Party Favourite.
I have a huge backlog of polishes to swatch and I'm VEEEEEERY slowly getting through them all! I have piCture pOlish Eyre today which is a metallic blue scatter chrome holo. It applied well and 2 coats is pictured with no top coat.
Summer is the perfect season to rock this gorgeous bright shade but the weather is absolutely miserable in Sydney at the moment though doh!

I was seriously tempted to buy the entire Gelly Nail Effects range as Superdrug had a 3 for 2 sale while I was there. I absolutely adore Barry M polishes - there is something about the shape of their bottles that I really like and the Gelly collection is amazing. I've built up a nice little collection of their polishes thanks to my lovely friends Christina and Aysh but how I really wish they still sold the brand here. The hubby's family actually used to own a Barry M store way back in the early 90s!

Grapefruit is a bright cerise pink creme and reminds me of a juicy watermelon instead of a grapefruit. Mmmmmmm! I seem to always be drawn to these types of bright pinks and I have about 2 dozen in my collection I think. Oops! It was a dream to apply and dried quickly to a high gloss shine. I do wish the collection actually had jelly finishes but they have a great formula so I can't complain. 2 coats is pictured with no top coat.

Details: The Barry M Gelly Nail Effects polishes are available from Superdrug, Boots and Barry M online for £3.99.
I saw Wicked with my sis when it was in Sydney a few years back but it was great to see it again. It's always nice to go out for a date night and especially as it'd been aaaaaaages since we'd been to a show. I didn't have time for nail art so what better than a gorgeous green glitter in the form of Illamasqua Destiny. It doesn't match the Wicked green but oh well!

Destiny was released about this time last year as an Australian exclusive shade for Chinese New Year that was available only at Myer (for those playing overseas Myer is a department store here). It contains fine and hex gold glitter in a dark green base and is wonderfully opaque. It's so opaque you could get away with just one even coat but I do 2 coats out of habit.

It dries super smoothly which is really surprising considering how packed with glitter it is. I love the depth of it and it's just gorgeous isn't it! 2 coats is pictured with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat.

I'm trying to shop my stash at the moment as I haven't really been in the mood to buy polish much lately. No collections have really jumped out to me which my wallet is happy about!

I thought I'd finally try out a distressed mani using 2 favourite Kester Black shades. I used 2 coats of Kester Black Acid and then applied Black Rose by wiping most of the polish off the brush and applying uneven strokes to the nail. So easy to do and I think it looks pretty good! I think I'll be more adventurous next time and use a few more colours though.
I am ALWAYS on the lookout for new products to try in case I find a new Holy Grail product and maybe because I pretty much just want to buy new beauty products! You also might know that I have a few skin problems which means I have to be extra careful when choosing products to use. Today I have 2 products from Help Me Ronda Aromatherapy & Massage that my hands have been absolutely loving and are gentle on my crappy skin.

Now straight up I have to let you know that the owner of Help Me Ronda is a friend and she's been friends with my hubby since primary school. I pull no punches when it comes to all my reviews and you can rest assured that Ronda received no special treatment whatsoever!

First up is the Rub-a-Dub Scrub which is an exfoliating hand and body scrub made from all natural shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, rice powder and tea tree powder. I really suck at describing smells but I'd say it has a fresh scent which is lovely and calming. A great pamper night product!

You only need about a 5-10 cent piece for both hands as a little goes a fair way. I've used a bit too much in the pic below though oops! To use, rub into your palms to melt the scrub and then gently rub for about 30 seconds before rinsing with warm water to reveal softer, smoother looking skin. It leaves a slightly oily film on the skin which soaks in after a while though which helps to lock in moisture and hydrate your skin.

I found the Rub-a-Dub-Scrub super gentle on my skin although it looks a little worrying in the tub. It made the backs of my hands smooth but I found the scrub made the biggest difference on my eczema and dermatitis patches which flare up on the palms of my hands and my ring and pinky fingers. My eczema patches are NOT a pretty sight at all hence why I haven't shown any pics. The scrub softened my rough dry skin leaving it smoother and I simply moisturised well after. It kept my scaly skin at bay for a good week which is a miracle for me - I normally have to resort to my corticosteroids creams so I am in love!

The Apple Pie Hydration Balm from the Just Desserts range smells every darn bit delicious as it sounds. It's made from mango butter, coconut oil, evening primrose oil and tea tree essential oil and can be used on pretty much any dry patch you might have. It works like my beloved Lush Lemony Flutter but the texture of the Hydration Balm is infinitely better - it's softer and smoother so it melts and soaks in wonderfully and quickly too in just a few minutes.

The soft texture however isn't so great in the warmer months as the balm melts so definitely store it in a cool place. I tend to use it on my elbows and as a cuticle balm and a little goes a long way. The size of the balms is also just right for on the go and fits perfectly in my handbag for touch ups while out and about.

I love the silver and white packaging of the Help Me Ronda products as it's clean and simple. All orders come with a care card with general instructions such as making sure you test patch the products which is always important with any new skincare.
It's one of my favourite Aussie brands and I've featured the shades in quite a few of my posts! In August they released 4 new shades for Summer 2014/15 so of course I added them all to my collection. I also picked up some other new shades which I'll share swatches of later.

It's taken me FOREVER to get these swatched but hey life gets in the way unfortunately. These fun bright shades are 5 free as always (meaning no nasty Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde, Formeheldyde Resin and Camphor), carcinogen free and are Australian made and owned and accredited Cruelty-Free.

What they say:

"The new collection is bold and eclectic, failing to represent any singular idea. For this reason the range will be left untitled, left to the interpretation of our audience. From neon yellow and fuschia purple to soft peach and pale blue, this range is designed to offer something for every mood and desire the warmer months might bring."

Sky is a soft baby blue creme. It's soooooooo soft and dreamy - doesn't it remind you of clouds? Sky almost looks like a soft grey in some lighting and I love the delicateness of the shade. 2 coats is pictured.

Violet is a bright neon violet. It was hard to capture so I had to tweak the colour a little for accuracy. It dries to a semi matte finish even though my pics make the finish look somewhat glossy. My camera does some funny things sometimes! 2 coats is pictured.

Acid is a searingly bright acid yellow green. I LOVE this shade as I don't have too many of these in my collection and the formula is fantastic. I thought I would have to use a white base but it looked great on its own. It dries to a matte finish so I suggest adding a top coat to get a glossy finish. 3 thin coats is pictured.

Blush is a pale peach-orange creme that is spot on for any Spring/Summer collection. Like Sky it's super soft and a great peach as it doesn't make my skin look red like other peach lacquers do at times. 3 coats is pictured.

Overall: I am loving the new Kester Black Summer 2014/15 collection just as I knew I would! The shades are different to what they have already in their collection and there's a shade to suit everyone. The formula on these are just like other collections and are pretty much perfection. I don't think there's a single Kester Black shade that I've been disappointed with which is pretty darn good. Acid and Blush do need a little extra care when applying but are still super easy to apply and they each dry quickly.

The only thing I'm unhappy about is the new brushes. I adore the old style brush on the left which is thin and straight as I find it really easy to get a clean finish and allows just the right amount of polish on the brush. The new brush on the right is curved and a lot thicker and I just can't seem to get the same application using it. It seems to be stiffer and doesn't allow as much "give" as the original brush. It's not a huge deal just a personal preference of mine which will take some getting used to.
