Glitter Gal Serpent Black
Here's my quick swatches of Glitter Gal Serpent Black for you as promised. I layered the amazing Duo Chromes I showed you yesterday over this gorgeous black.
Serpent Black is a super black jelly and creme hybrid. It's not quite either one! It is VERY glossy and dries extremely quickly which is fantastic. I used 2 thinnish coats for opacity which is pictured here. You could probably get away with 1 thick coat actually!

ReplyDeleteIt is amazingly glossy! It definitely doesn't need topcoat - I suspect top coat would lessen the gloss!

DeleteThis is one gorgeous black! I've been looking for a good black polish for ages but all I could say after wearing one for a couple of days was meh... Knowing G.G. is a great company, I think this will be a great black. I'll buy it soon. Thanks for sharing 'Chelle! :)
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Ria! I do hope you like it as much as I do. I love that it's super glossy and a little bit squishy. I wish it was a one coater but it dries very quickly so it's not a huge matter! Glitter Gal are a fab company I agree =D

ReplyDeleteThe finish is the best thing about Serpent Black! It's squishy but not totally squishy and it's not like a creme either so gives a bit more depth.
