Hi ladies!! I am back from Hong Kong (sadly!) and am ready to get back into things! I meant to post while I was away but of course life got in the way which it tends to do when one is on holiday xp Better late than never I say! I got the chance to try out the latest Face of Australia Limited Edition nail collection and I guest posted on the Face of Australia blog sharing my swatches and review of the gorgeous new Carnivale collection - 8 textured polishes that I hope you'll love as much as I do! My favourite shade from the Carnivale collection would have to be 'My Island Home' as I love neautral/nude colours and think it looks even better with this sandy texture. I love that since it is a nude colour any mistakes or chipping will be less noticeable as I'm not the best with applying nail polish and also, always seem to chip it too easily with all my clumsiness!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite shade would be Ferris Wheel because I'm obsessed with the colours Teal & Turquoise. Sea-foam green is very similar to these shades. Also, the glitters in Ferris Wheel make it unique because I don't have anything like that in my collection.

Oh I loved your guest post on the FOA blog, I remember drooling over those swatches when it first went up! My favourite would have to be Midnight Fireworks - it's the perfect grown-up glitter, a really classy gold that would last the entire party season.

ReplyDeleteGreat review on the FoA blog! I've recently fallen in love with textured polishes and these ones look absolutely perfect! I'm a sucker for eye-wateringly bright polishes so it's a toss up between Summer Lovin' and Mango Slurpee but I think Mango Slurpee wins my favour by the slimmest of margins, purely because of it's fun name. Mango Slurpee... Slurpee... Sluuuuuuurpeeeee... Great. Now I want a Slurpee!

My favourite shade is Bird of Paradise because this is such a happy colour! It fits perfectly into summer and with all the Christmas and New Year parties coming up, I'm sure this polish will warm everyone's hearts. I also love how this collection is textured. It just adds a little more uniqueness into the polishes.

I love the shade Between the Flags! There is nothing prettier than a classy red polish on any set of nails and the sparkle of this one is perfect for work or play! Its just a shame I can't get me hands on any of the shades in town as I'd love to rock this on my nubs!

ReplyDeleteAll the colours in this Carnival collection are so sheerful and fun but Ferris wheel really makes the cut for me. The slightly darker mint green sparkle really is the perfect nail colour for summer. The texture of the nail polish looks rather thick and it should last longer then normal nail polishes. I love the sandy sparkly texture on the nails in this photo it really stands out and looks so fresh. This colour is truly perfect for summer and would add the most exquisite touch to the perfect outfit.

Wow! GREAT giveaway! So hard to choose a favourite cause you made them all look amazing. BUT I would have to choose Masquerade..I love glitter and my favourite colour is purple.
